Frye Melissa Riding Boot - Variations on the Riding Boot Theme

!±8± Frye Melissa Riding Boot - Variations on the Riding Boot Theme

The Frye Melissa Riding Boot may be best known in its style that bears the name "Riding Boot" - however, this is but one of the boots in the Melissa collection with a riding inspired style. Especially since a boot of this caliber can be considered an "investment", I recommend checking out the various other styles available.

Here is a list of the Riding Style Boots from the Melissa Collection:

The "Riding Boot" - This is a long, sleek boot with lacing up the front (to just below the mid-calf area), which functions to add a sort of vintage appearance to the boot as well as improve the fit on the leg area. It has the basic familiar style of the Melissa, with a feminine appearance and is definitely a lovely choice.

Melissa Button - It may or may not be well known that the "Button" version of the Frye Melissa is actually a riding inspired style. It happens to be (based on my research) the most popular boot in the collection. This boot also has a feminine, long sleek look with logo buttons atop the pull straps.

Melissa Honeycomb - Here we most definitely have a "variation on a theme"! This boot takes the sleek and feminine look of the Melissa style and adds a bit of an edge with a studded, loop style harness around the ankle area of the boot. Simply gorgeous - this one is my personal favorite. At first glance this boot may not even be considered a "riding" boot as many women think of them today, but it is designed as a riding boot style.

There are other styles among the Melissa collection, but the list above comprises the Frye Melissa Riding Boot styles for women.
