What do you get when you merge a bold harness style with a sleek western boot?  The Frye Carson Harness!  This boot is rather new in the women's Frye Boot collection and I expect that we will see and hear a lot more of this boot in the months and years to come.

Over the past couple of years, the harness boot has truly made its own place in the fashion world - it  adds a bold and stylish but "tough" look to any woman's ensemble and has become quite a fashion trend.  Due to this fact, the Frye company has expanded its selection of harness boots and can now be found in collections such as the Veronica and Maxine - gorgeous and feminine styles for women.

The Frye Carson boot first made its appearance earlier this year, and I noticed it as being one of the sleekest women's western boots around.  While it has a traditional western boot style, it has a tapered rounded toe with a bit of a "bump" on the front to set it off and the women's version of the boot is unmistakably feminine.  It is constructed from some of the softest leather around which not only adds something to the "comfort factor" but adds versatility to the ways the boot can be worn - up, slouched or even cuffed.

Now the harness has merged with the Carson boot from Frye, creating a look that I fell in love with at first sight.  While the harness adds a touch of a rugged appearance, the strapping is not what I would call "too too" - it is sleek and elegant, which fits the general look of the boot and adds much to it rather than distracting from the general cut and style.
